Welcome to the world of Shovel Knight, a brand new game for the Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, & PC! This is a classic style action adventure game with an 8-bit retro look & call backs to Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda, Duck Tales & more. We play as the Shovel Knight, a legendary hero clad in blue armor & wieldING the Shovel Blade, a multipurpose weapon whose techniques have now been lost to the ages. We can use it to dig up our foes & also to pogo like old Scrooge McDuck. Our goal is to uphold the code of Shovelry: which means Slashing Mercilessly and Digging Tirelessly in the name of justice! To do this we'll have to defeat The Order of No Quarter, knights that have been sent to prevent the Shovel Knight from reaching their leader the vile Enchantress! We've also come to this valley to save our beloved Shield Knight from the Tower of Fate.
