Session XIV Summary:

With Nick still away, John and David control Coltaine.

The Drogans, having surrendered to Balgron the Fat, are knocked out, and awake inside the cells in the torture room with Splug.

Splug simply opens his cell door and walks out. It turns out that when he saw the Drogans captured, he ran back to his cell and closed himself in without locking the door.

Splug goes to fetch the set of keys the Drogans looted from the hobgoblin, which is with the rest of their equipment, then frees the Drogans. The party reequips itself, then returns to Winterhaven, promising to return for Splug.

In Winterhaven, Lord Padraig explains that several villagers have disappeared and that the dead have risen from the cemetery. The Drogans agree to help Winterhaven once more.

Upon entering Wrafton's, the Drogans see a familiar face--Zacsarrd, alive and well. Rekoj speaks to him, but is confused when Zacsarrd doesn't recognize him.

After an entire Abbott & Costello routine of mistaken identities, it turns out that this is Zaxzarrd, spelled differently but pronounced the same, who is the brother of Zacsarrd the deceased.

Zaxzarrd and the Drogans agree to help each other.

Rekoj pays a visit to his archnemesis, the dwarven smith, and asks to sharpen all his weapons and to buy a whetstone. The smith is suitably outraged.

Autumn then visits the blacksmith in search of shuriken, to which he replies that he's a blacksmith, not a master exotic weapon maker, and sells her daggers instead.

The Drogans then head off for the cemetery, and the session ends.
