With a motto of "No Whining," 25 custom 4x4s traversed four states on a 1,400 mile on-and-off-road trip in eight days. The 14th running of the Ultimate Adventure traveled the Midwest from Nebraska, through Iowa, Illinois, and ending in Missouri. Although this year's trek wasn't the longest Ultimate Adventure it was still tough, grueling, and a ton of fun!

In order to participate in the UA, you have to have a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with at least 35-inch-tall tires, lockers front and rear, a winch, recovery points front and rear, a spare tire, a jack, a first-aid kit, and more. Your rig also has to be able to maintain 60 mph on-road and have a range of at least 150 miles before requiring fuel. less
