We're doing a let's play and taking a first look and first impression at some Event[0] gameplay, which is a brand new Sci-Fi exploration game available on Steam with a lot of story and a LOT of personality! In Event[0] developed by Ocelot Society you float to safety in an escape pod to a derelict space yacht after an explosion rocks your previous craft. Your only companion and essentially the very thing keeping you alive is Kaizen, an artificial intelligence program that runs the Nautilus, the ship you managed to seek refuge in.

The more we play, the more we realize that things aren't always what they seem as more of Kaizen's personality begins to show and even though it's just a game, we find ourselves treating this entity like it's a member of our party. Yes, the way you interact with Kaizen is by various terminals scattered throughout the ship. Treat Kaizen well and he'll open doors and assist you in completing objectives upon the ship, treat him poorly and...well I'm not exactly sure what would happen. I don't think I want to find out.

Either way, Event0 is a very special game, and one that I can tell I'm going to absolutely love. It takes what I like most about Indie games, which is the originality and charges full steam ahead with it. That makes Event[0] something really special, and I hope you folks think so as well. less
